AB Dental Implants are unique dental implants that are specially treated in our office by a Hydrosseo machine which makes the implants extremely hydrophilic ( attracted to fluids ). What this means for you is that when you have an AB Implant placed, the time it takes for the implant to Osseointegrate (fuse to the bone) is diminished so you can get your new teeth faster.

What does AB Dental implant treatment involve?

AB Dental treatment is a quick outpatient procedure that typically takes less than an hour.

At the beginning of your appointment, Dr. Marcano and the team conduct an oral exam, review your dental health history, and ask about your goals for treatment. They also take oral X-rays to determine the health of your jaw and alveolar bone. If you don’t have enough bone to support AB Dental implants, the team might recommend a bone graft before placing them.

If you have plenty of bone, Dr. Marcano and the team administer a local anesthetic. Once your gums are numb, Dr. Marcano places a single AB Dental implant into your jaw. 

After placing the implants, Dr. Marcano and the team may apply a temporary crown if you are a candidate. They then take impressions of your mouth and send them to a laboratory that manufactures your custom restoration.

A couple of weeks later you return to Orlando Center For Cosmetic Dentistry. At your second appointment, Dr. Marcano and the team attach your permanent crown to the AB Dental implant.

Do AB Dental implants require any downtime?

Once you receive your AB Dental implants, you can bite and chew like normal. There’s no swelling, sensitivity, or discomfort. After your appointment, you can return to work, school, or other daily activities right away.
